Feeling “Tired” on the Homestead? Come help build an Earthship in Freeville!

Our friends and neighbors, Chad and Courtney, are definitely feeling “tired” as they gear up and pound dirt in salvaged tires that will make up the walls of their Earthship home. A man named Mike Reynolds began developing the Earthship idea in the 1970s. Since then, the idea has been taking off around the world. His books actually inspired the Dacha Project many years ago and the Dacha crew has adopted a variety of Earthship principles in the building of our off-grid home. We are honored to welcome Mike and the Earthship builders to Freeville to help Chad and Courtney construct their dream home!
